Your website is the manifestation of your brand across tone, personality, messaging and visual cues. All these elements need to be consistent across the site and anything else you are doing external to the site.

To ensure this consistency, Alex recommends creating a Digital Style Guide that can either be an extension of your existing Brand Style Guide or a one that starts from near scratch depending o your business situation and size. We create and define the following items:

Site architecture is a critical component for ensuring your visitors easily find what they need and Google finds well structured and easily indexed content. It also drives your PPC Advertising Structure for optimal results there too. So this is a critical and sometimes difficult task.

It needs to be based on your messaging matrix and buyer search and requirements. That's whey we spend a WorkShop on it. You'll be amazed at how well it helps you clarify your business, gets agreement around the table for what is important and what is not, and firms up your go-to-market strategy too. This benefits the business well beyond the site. 




Alex works with you to write and design the site content pages for launch. This includes writing and sub-editing all content based on what real humans need to read, and what Google bots want to crawl. The content is based on the messaging, keyphrase and buyer profiles completed in the earlier work.

You can do as much or as little of this work as you wish based on your teams' skills, knowledge, budget and resource allocation. We engage our writers with sector experience, sub-editors for grammar and easy-to-read prose, and our search optimisation experts to make sure we're on the money there too, so it drives the right traffic:

This is the stuff that so many HubSpot agencies will try and make seem bigger than Ben Hur. It is significant of course, but we never understand why the client so often has to do the heavy lifting in stage 5 of writing everything, just for the agency to load it in - and then claim search optimisation. Weird.

Anyway, we love getting stuck into this component because we ensure all pages are built out, customised, and work perfectly in terms of mobile and search optimisation - and to brand standards.

We ask that your team review the site and log the updates and changes they would like to see and agree on being advanced. These tasks are also costed and timed for agreement and approval to proceed.

  • How much does it cost to hire the crew at Alex?

    Our corporate websites typically cost about $20K depending on the scale. We provide a cost estimate upon receiving your brief then refine that after stage 04 once we understand the site architecture. 

  • How do you work with our internal team?
    We typically work with small marketing teams of one to five people, where at least one person owns the marketing relationship with Alex Inbound Marketing. We see ourselves as an extension of your team, ready to work with you and support you in any way we can to meet your goal of growth, more efficiently.
  • How is Alex different from other HubSpot agencies?
